You’re the star of the show 🌟
Spotify’s newest tool Showcase is here! Showcase allows artists to promote the releases they want, whenever they want, to the audience they want to reach. 75% of streams on Spotify are accumulated after the first month of the release being live on the store. With this knowledge, Showcase is bringing opportunities to enhance your release at any time, not just when you first release it.
When you open the Spotify app, Showcase will appear as a banner at the top of Spotify’s Home page. Users who see a Showcase are 6x more likely to listen to the promoted release.
Please note! To be eligible to book a Showcase, artists must have at least 1,000 streams over the past 28 days in at least one of the available target markets, and the artist team’s billing country must be set to the U.S.
Click here to start your new Showcase Campaign. Then follow the steps;
- Choose your release by typing in your artist name or release title and selecting your chosen release.
- Select your team.
- The heart of the campaign: setting it up. Choose the headline, adjust your audience targeting and more.
- Pay for the promo.
- Finally, review and launch your campaign.
You’ll receive reports to display how your campaigns are doing; these are available 24hrs after your campaign starts. You’ll be able to see your listeners and saves count increase, further details on audience development, whether your audience streamed your other releases, and more.
Here’s a few great examples of how you can make the most of Showcase:
- Sharing an old release and giving it a new lease of life
- Building excitement for an upcoming release
- Highlighting a Christmas banger when it’s coming up to Christmas
- Re-engaging listeners that you might not have reached in a while with a new release
- Sharing your release anniversary with your fans
Showcase is priced on a cost-per-click basis, starting at a $0.40 CPC (cost-per-click). You can set a budget for your campaign which starts at $100 when booked via Spotify for Artists and run until you either spend your budget or 14 days after your campaign starts, whichever comes first. Your budget will only be spent when people actually click on the Showcase.
In order to maximize the result of what you’ve spent, Showcase filters out people who have already intentionally streamed the promoted release in the past 28 days. During the campaign, you’ll only reach people who haven’t actively listened yet.
