Unrecognised characters can’t be included in your release metadata – we won’t be able to approve releases containing these characters. Sorry for any inconvenience here!

There’s too many of these to provide a full list, but our partner stores are likely to reject releases uploaded through RouteNote that contain either:

• Characters that are not part of a real language
• Non-standard punctuation symbols

Some examples of this are:
†, ▲, ▼ ×, ©, ®, ℗, █, ♭
