Non-profit? Non, merci! 🚫

You can’t describe your release uploaded through RouteNote as being non-profit, copyright free, public domain or creative commons.

Our moderation team will not be able to approve a release that describes itself as any of the above due to our partner stores‘ policies.

It’s perfectly fine for you to release your content through a store and then give it away for free elsewhere. For example, you might have content uploaded through RouteNote to stores as all rights reserved and then distribute it under a creative commons licence on your own website.

Describing a release as non-profit when it’s on one of our partner stores is inaccurate, as all content distributed through RouteNote is subject to monetisation.
