🎶 Just the two of us, we can make it if we try 🎶
By crediting two separate artists in the same field on your RouteNote release, you will create a single artist page with both names and the release won’t link to any of the existing artist pages.
For example, this is incorrect if these are separate artists:
Track title: Flexin’
Primary artist: Lil Joe & Funky JJ
This would be the correct way to format the individual primary artists on this track:
Track title: Flexin’
Primary artist: Lil Joe
Primary artist: Funky JJ
However, if you’re a duo/group whose name includes multiple names (e.g. ‘Simon & Garfunkel’, ‘Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’) then you can format your release as such.
Our moderation team may not know whether your artists are separate or compound, so may ask you to change it or to clarify. If you let us know that that’s how your artist name is meant to be, we can accept it and add a note to your account, so you’re not asked about it in future.
Please note! Please list both artists individually within the Publishing Details of your release. This section is not for artist names, band names or compound artist names.
