Changing composition-copyright confusion to composition-copyright certainty ðŸ§
Composition copyright is there to identify who owns the copyright on a composition of a track/album.
The composition refers to the notes, melodies, phrases, rhythms, lyrics, harmonies, etc. The original creator of the piece. The original creator will also be listed in the Composer field within the Publishing Details section of your release.
So therefore, the composition copyright field, is there to say who owns the copyright on the composition of the release (e.g. the melody, lyrics, chords).
The composition copyright field is also known as the C line, which you can find in the album details section of your RouteNote release.
