Set a date and watch this space!

The original release date is when the release was initially made available to the public (physically or digitally) and the sales start date is the date that your music will go live in stores and streaming services. Your original release date can be on or before your sales start date, but not after it.

If you have a sales start date in mind, you would need to complete the sales start date field which is below the original release date field, as shown below.

You will need to set an original release date in order for your release to be approved, whereas you don’t have to set a sales start date.
