You can use different languages within the same metadata field on your RouteNote release, so long as the text in one language isn’t a translation of the text in the other.
For example, here the English text in brackets is a direct translation of the French text in the title:
Track title: Le ciel est bleu (The Sky Is Blue)
In this example, the English text in brackets has a different meaning to the French text in the title; this would be fine.
Track title: Le ciel est bleu (Like The Ocean)
If you’d like dual language metadata for iTunes…
Firstly, you’ll need to update all of your metadata so it only uses your native language. This is in order for your release to get through moderation.
After this, please contact email@example.com with your release UPC, track names and any languages you wish for the titles to be displayed in. We’ll then make the updates on your behalf!
