Does RouteNote accept Hi-Res audio?

Looking for a resolution? 🔎

RouteNote now accepts uploading in High-Resolution (HiRes) Audio for some of our users! This audio format provides a higher level of audio quality in comparison to standard audio formats, such as MP3.

When we’re talking about audio, resolution refers to the number of bits used to represent a sound wave digitally. The higher the resolution, the more detailed and accurate the sound wave can be captured and reproduced. Similar to when you see an image in HD – it’s top quality.

HiRes Audio takes one step further by offering a higher sample rate and bit depth than other standard audio formats, such as MP3 – this captures and reproduces audio with more depth and nuance. Designed to deliver audio with greater precision, accuracy and detail, HiRes Audio results in a more immersive and high-fidelity listening experience. Listeners can enjoy the subtle nuances of instruments, vocals, and sound effects that may be lost in lower-quality audio formats.

High-Resolution Audio also offers a wider dynamic range and frequency response than other standard audio formats, like MP3. This provides a more realistic listening experience for the viewer and allows the audience to immerse themselves in the audio.
