For the love of RouteNote, don’t use ‘password’ as your password! 😅
Here’s a little guide to ensure you create a secure password to protect yourself from cybercriminals.
The key to a good passphrase is randomness
Ensure to use a minimum of 15 to 20 characters, don’t base your password on anything that’s easy for someone to learn about you, and never reuse passwords across multiple accounts.
A few tips:
– Make sure it’s a long one!
– Use a mix of characters (upper-case and lower-case, numbers, symbols, etc.)
– Avoid common substitutions (e.g. R0UT3N0T3)
– Don’t use memorable keyboard paths (e.g. 12345)
Pro tip: You could use random password generator sites to provide you with strong, impossible-to-guess passwords. Click here for a link to one of these!
