Desktop
- Head to the artist page in mention, and click the three dots icon next to the Following button.
- Select Share.
- Here you’ll be able to see a button that reads Copy link to artist. If you hold the Ctrl or Alt buttons, this will change to Copy artist URI, as displayed in the GIF below.
Mobile
To locate your Spotify artist URI on mobile, it’s a little more manual.
- Head to the artist page in mention, and click the three dots icon next to the Following button.
- Select Share.
- Click Copy link.
- Head to your Notes app or similar.
- And paste the URL. Now here’s the manual work…
- To change this URL into your URI, you’ll need to locate the 22 character code that makes up the Spotify URI after the ‘spotify.com/artist/’ text in the link.

- Now is the important part, so here you’ll want to delete everything else around your 22 character code. Which leaves us with:
21jo1kw7VNI6yltpkas33k
- Then, add it to the end of spotify:artist: to create your URI.

How can I find my Spotify URI for future releases?
You can get some of your store links from us by heading over to the Artist Services tab of your RouteNote account. There is a drop down menu which will allow you to hover over Marketing and select URL Requests. This will take you to the Pre-save URL Request form.
Your Spotify artist URI will be one of these links that you receive.
The relevant links will be sourced as soon as they’re made available by the stores. Please note! Your release will need to be approved before you complete this form.
