Error terror?! Don’t fear, here’s how to come out on top 💪
If you’ve received this error message upon submitting your release for moderation and you’re not sure how to proceed, then you’ve come to the right place!
When creating, editing or updating a release on RouteNote, you’ll see a section on your track and album details pages to add your publishing information. You’ll need to pop in the writers involved in your release, including composers and, if applicable, lyricists.
Please ensure you enter the first and last name of the composer(s) and lyricist(s) of the release.
Once you have filled out your Publishing Details in the Album Details section, then this will automatically transfer over to your Track Details when adding a new track to the release. If you edit these details at track level without also updating the details at album level, and you try to submit your release for moderation, then you’ll likely receive this error message.

This error message is telling you that not everything is matching as it needs to be, specifically in your Publishing Details section. Please ensure that the Publishing Details at track level match your Publishing Details at album level.
Please note! The Publishing Details section cannot be left blank within either Track Details or Album Details.
