Explicit content is anything that contains adult content or themes: references to sex, drug use, violence, or swearing.
An album uploaded through RouteNote should be marked as explicit if:
- The album artwork contains any adult content or themes
- Any metadata on the release contains any adult themes or language (including artist names and track titles)
- One or more tracks on the release are marked as explicit
If your album artwork contains the “Parental Advisory Explicit Content” logo, then the album must be marked as explicit.
To mark your release as explicit, you’ll need to be logged into your RouteNote account. Open your release within your Discography and click on Album Details.
Scroll right down to the bottom of the page and you should find the option to mark your release as explicit.
