Sometimes your release with us at RouteNote has been removed from stores and you might not be sure why. Though this is a rare occurrence, hopefully this guide will help you figure out what has happened with your release.

Fraud streaming activity

If your release has been found out to be part of fake or illegitimate streaming, then we and our partner stores may remove the release from sale.

Your release may be removed from sale if an infringement complaint has been raised with RouteNote. If this is the case, you should have received an email from our infringements team.

Partner stores

Sometimes, our partner stores request release removals. This could be due to a store clean up or internal store policies which we then have to abide to. Deezer in particular have been working hard on the curation of their releases, as seen in this article- Why may my release be removed from Deezer?
