A checklist to follow below, the route to getting your dough 💸
Your statistics and earnings are updated on your account 45 days after the month they’re earned in, for example – the streams and downloads you receive in January would be shown on your account on the 15th of March.
Once you’ve earned over $50, your payment will automatically be sent to your linked PayPal account or bank account by the 20th of the month. Your payment may be received at any point between the 15th to the 20th of each month if you’ve passed the threshold and have a payment method linked.
There’s a few things you’ll need to check first…
1. Check that you’ve reached the $50 minimum threshold for payout.
If you’ve not reached the full $50, you’re not quite there yet – and this would be why you’ve not received your earnings for the month. 📌 Please note! You’ll need to reach $50 in order to receive each payout. So if you reach $50 for the first time, and receive your pay, you’ll need to reach $50 again to receive another payout.
2. Check the date.
The payment cycle starts on the 15th of every month and is usually complete by the 20th. So if it’s the 19th, wait just one more day! The exception to this is if the 15th of the month falls on a weekend. If this occurs, the payment period will commence upon the next working day.
3. Check that you’ve got payment details linked.
If you don’t have any payment details linked to your RouteNote account we won’t be able to send pay your way. If you need to change the details that are already on your account, we now make payments via PayPal, Bank Transfer or Payoneer.

4. If you’re getting paid using PayPal, check when you added your PayPal info.
If your PayPal is added on or after the 15th, you will need to wait for the next payment cycle. So double check when you received confirmation from our Support team.
5. Check that your PayPal is verified and set up to receive USD.
You must ensure that your PayPal is set up to receive USD.📌 Please note! This doesn’t come as a standard on all PayPal accounts, this depends on what territory you are in – so you might have to set it up. Accounts can be configured to accept USD by navigating to the Wallet section of the desktop version on the site; underneath the current balance of the account is an Add Currency button. USD can be added here.
