If you’re looking for the tick, here’s the trick ✔️
A verified YouTube channel will show the icons or next to the channel’s name. If this appears on a channel, you know that it’s the official creator, artist, company or public figure.
You can submit a request for a channel verification once you have 100,000 subscribers. Occasionally, YouTube may verify channels with fewer than 100,000 subscribers if the creator or band are well-known outside of YouTube.
The store also requires the following:
- The channel must represent the real creator, brand, or entity it claims to be. They may also ask for further documentation!
- The channel must be public and have a channel banner, description, and profile picture. The channel also needs to have content and be active on YouTube.
This information has been provided by a YouTube Support guide, which can be found here.
This isn’t something that we can submit for you here at RouteNote, but we can point you in the right direction!
Please note! Your channel cannot be verified if the channel is impersonating another creator or brand. If a channel is found deliberately impersonating someone else, this may result in the store taking further action.
