Instagram

To get verified on Instagram, you will need to set up your profile as a musician/band page. To do this, please follow the steps below…

• From your existing profile in the mobile app, click on the settings icon.
• Choose Switch to Business Profile.
• On the Set Up Your Business Profile page, be sure to update your business’ contact information, make any changes and tap Done.

You can then request verification of your profile!

Facebook

In addition to following Facebook’s terms of service and community standards (which can be found here), Facebook also holds a few requirements for pages and profiles to be eligible for verification.

For Facebook and Instagram, your account needs to be:

  • Authentic: Represent a real person, registered business or entity.
  • Unique: Represent the unique presence of the person or business. Only one account per person or business may be verified, with exceptions for language-specific accounts. Meta don’t verify general interest accounts (e.g. @puppymemes).
  • Complete: Your account must be public and have a bio, profile photo and be active when you apply. It must also have a good amount of content and be updated regularly.
  • Notable: Your account must represent a well-known, highly searched for person, brand or entity. Meta review accounts that are featured in multiple news sources, and don’t consider paid or sponsored media content as sources for review.

Click on this link when you think you’re ready to go and fill the form provided.

SoundCloud

To get verified on SoundCloud, your SoundCloud profile must meet these requirements:

  • It represents a well-known and/or highly searched-for artist, collective, DJ, label, curator or podcaster
  • It must be a unique profile. SoundCloud do not verify fan accounts or impersonators
  • It doesn’t contain any misleading information and adheres to SoundCloud’s terms of use
  • It must have a bio, profile photo and at least one track uploaded

Some artists will be automatically verified by SoundCloud.

If you haven’t been verified automatically but believe you meet the requirements, you can apply by logging into your SoundCloud account on your computer, heading to your settings and selecting â€˜request verification’.

TikTok

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer support for TikTok with claiming and linking your tracks, but it may help if you start by getting your account verified. Click here for more info on this!

If this doesn’t work, you can try reaching out to TikTok’s team. Click here to do this!
