Can I accidentally upload duplicated audio on a release?

Computer says no. No really…the RouteNote site will tell you! 💻

Our newest update means that our system will automatically detect any duplicate audio and let you know about it.

If this happens to you, you’ll receive a message that says ‘Audio file should not be same‘.
It looks like this:

If your audio files are similar but not identical, this won’t be an issue! Our system will only detect identical audio files. With similar audio files, you can use the title version field to differentiate between the two tracks. An example where this might be relevant is if the first track is the radio edit, whereas the second track is the extended mix of the same track.
