Just couldn’t sell the idea to us.
Unfortunately, we would not be able to distribute releases which are classed as adverts or reviews. We can’t allow releases to be sent to stores if you’re trying to sell us something, direct listeners somewhere else or if you’re reviewing other content.
There are certain types of releases that we don’t accept here at RouteNote (see more categories below). Some of these are because our partner stores won’t allow them, but others are ones that we’re not set up to process. Because of this, some of the types of unaccepted releases are ones that do appear on some of our partner stores.
Here’s a list of unaccepted content:
- Audiobooks
- Speech/text or scripture excerpts, with no, or minimal, music
- Podcasts
- Advertisements or reviews
- Preview releases made up of excerpts
- Sample packs
- Ringtones
If your release falls into one of these categories, we’ll have to reject it.
