Can I use the same track on multiple releases?

Life’s too short to be saying no.

Yep – no issues here! If you’ve released an album containing a song that you wish to release separately as a single, this is fine to do. Similarly, if the song has been released as a single and you want it to appear on your album, that’s fine too!

📌 Please note! Once an UPC has been approved in the RouteNote system, it can’t be reused on another release. You’ll need to add a new code to the release. If you leave this section blank, we will automatically generate these for you with no costs involved!

Consider that Spotify may attempt to link your tracks…for more on track linking, click here.
Even with different codes, it’s likely that the play counts will be the same for both versions of the track due to track linking.
