How do I request a refund for a subscription made through the app?

If you’ve purchased RouteNote’s Premium subscription via our RouteNote app, and you’re looking to get a refund, then you’ve come to the right place! RouteNote doesn’t directly handle these transactions, so to request a refund for a subscription made through an in-app purchase, you’ll need to sort this through the platform you used to make the purchase- for example, Apple or Google Play.

Here’s a couple of guides on which platform you use:

For Apple (iOS) Devices:

  1. Head to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  3. Find the transaction and tap on Report or Report a Problem next to it.
  4. Follow the prompts on your device to submit your refund request.

For Google Play (Android) Devices:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.
  2. Tap Menu > Account > Purchase History.
  3. Find the transaction and tap on Report a problem.
  4. Select the refund option and follow the prompts to submit your request.

If the Premium subscription was purchased through another platform, or if you have any issues with the process of this, we’d recommend checking directly with the platform’s customer service or their help centre for guidance.

Please Note-

1.) Time Limits: Both platforms usually have a time limit (such as 48 hours for Google Play and up to 90 days for Apple, though it can depend on local laws and the type of purchase).
2.) Automatic vs Manual Review: Some refunds are processed automatically, while others might require review.
