This article’s here to simplify, your Spotify artist URI; this code you cannot modify, it’s there to help identify 🙌
A Spotify artist URI is a code that is given to the artist page to differentiate between each page – it works similarly to a barcode. Each code is distinctive and is personal to the artist, so you won’t find two the same!
URIs aren’t just for artist pages, URIs are also applied to tracks, albums, playlists, users, and just about everything else.
When creating your release with RouteNote, if you have an existing Spotify artist profile, you can add your Spotify URL or URI in the artist name field in your release. If you don’t have an existing Spotify artist profile, then please select Create a new profile. For further guidance on linking your Spotify artist profile within your release details, click here.
