Soon you’ll be a music vocab whizz… here’s what an EP is!
An EP is a type of release, stores will usually class EPs as 2-6 tracks.
There’s no set definition of how long an EP is. Lengths vary between stores and distributors. We choose our definitions to favour most stores.
If your RouteNote release features more than one track, you’ll need to ensure to follow the policies that our partner stores hold for multi-track releases.
If you credit any artists on your tracks as Primary artists, then you must also credit them within the album details as a Primary artist. Any other artist roles are to be credited in the album artist metadata if they appear in all tracks in the same role.
Please note! When uploading, your title versions at track level must match your album version.
Please refrain from using ‘EP’ within your track or album title as this may not be accepted.
