Can I release a single and reupload it in an album?

The best of both worlds 🎶

Yes, there’s no problem with doing this!

If you have previously released a single and now want to upload it in an album, just create a new release and add all tracks that you wish to be on there.

It’s your decision whether or not you wish to remove your single.

Spotify will automatically attempt to link tracks that match already existing content, once both your matching tracks are live on the store. If a match is found, the play counts for the linked tracks will be collected together and the total amount of plays will be displayed on both your tracks.
