We cannot Handel this incredible new app, once you’ve downloaded it, there’s no going Bach

Apple’s newest music streaming app, Apple Music Classical, has provided us with the world’s largest catalog of classical music for classical lovers to enjoy, with over 5 million tracks. Take pleasure in sounds with the highest audio quality available and new listening experience with Spatial Audio.

The app is available for download on the App Store everywhere Apple Music is offered, excluding China, Japan, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey. 📌 Please note! Apple Music Classical is available for all iPhone models running iOS 15.4 or later, the app is coming soon for Android. If you’re an existing Apple Music subscriber, you can use Apple Music Classical at no additional cost.

With it’s fully optimised search, you can easily locate a track; Apple Music Classical has redesigned the search to deliver exactly what users are looking for. You can use all combinations of keywords, from composer and work, to opus number, conductor, artist, or instrument, and even a work’s nickname. Looking up a work reveals all its recordings and an Editor’s Choice performance; searching for a composer will display all available works.

It’s not only a new listening experience for classical lovers, but it’s also a hub for education. Find descriptions of works, and composer biographies, and many more features within the app.

Apple Music Classical provides over 700 playlists to display 800 years of music; a good place to start would be with The Story of Classical audio guides. Plus, a feature, Hidden Gems, will highlight a selection of lesser-known works every week, and Composer Undiscovered playlists highlights famous composers with new perspectives.
