What is the YouTube Partner Program?

Content’s the aim, creation’s the game 💪

YouTube’s Partner Program (YPP) offers creators a way of earning on their videos and managing their content.

The YPP is where content creators can access more resources and features more than a standard account can offer. It is a way for you to earn money through adverts and have more control over how your channel is managed, using Adsense to collect your revenue.

By joining their program, you will get the following:

  • Access to their Creator Support Team – They will be able to help you optimise your channel, giving you tips on technical aspects of YouTube. You’ll be able to get advice on any troubleshooting errors within your account, resolve Content ID queries and answer any general queries you may have in regard to your YouTube Channel.
  • Copyright Match Tool – This tool scans the audio of all videos uploaded to YouTube and will identify if any of it matches your original content. If so, you will be given different options on how you want to resolve this via your account.
  • Monetization Features – Ad Revenue, Channel memberships, Merch shelf, Super Chat & Super Stickers and YouTube Premium revenue are all things included within this feature.

There are certain requirements you will need to meet before you can qualify for YouTube’s Partner Program.
