Don’t fret, don’t panic! Here’s how to be an artwork mechanic.
If you’re not able to upload your artwork successfully to your release on RouteNote, it’s worth doing a couple of checks first of all.
- Is your artwork less than 25mb? If the image file is larger than 25mb, it is too big and will result in an error.
- Is your artwork 3000 x 3000 pixels? The cover art needs to fit these dimensions to upload successfully.
Please note! If your artwork seems to meet the requirements, try using a different site/program for editing your image, like PicResize for example. Then set your image to 3000 x 3000 pixels once more, save, and reupload.
If you’re still struggling after making sure your image meets the above requirements, we’d advise trying to clear your cache and browsing history.

- Press F12 in your web browser.
- Right click on the refresh button
- Select the option to clear cache and hard reload.
Click here to clear your cookies.
It could also be useful to try using an incognito or private window.
