Spotify classes any play over 30 seconds as a stream.
As long as your track has been played for over 30 seconds on Spotify, it’s classed as a stream – even if someone listens to your track offline, or if they skip it after 30 seconds. If you listen to a song offline, the stream is counted when you’re back online.
Streams are counted by each individual listen to each song on a release, so if you have a song featured in a single and on an EP, listening to the single will count as a stream for the EP too.
Spotify will provide us with the statistics and we then add that to your reports every 45 days. For further information on Spotify statistics, click here.
