Your topic channel is an important part of the Official Artist Channel request process. It must have the correct features in order to be considered eligible for an OAC on YouTube.

You will need to make sure you comply with the following before submitting your application:

• Your topic channel must not be a Release – Topic. If your release has been uploaded to a Release – Topic channel, you can request that this is relocated by reaching out to Support.
• You must have at least one release on a topic channel unique to your artist which has been distributed through RouteNote. All you need to do is select YouTube Music when creating your release to have the content appear on a topic channel!

If you meet the criteria outlined above, as well as the other criteria in our OAC guide, then you are ready to submit your OAC request! Good luck!
