How does the RouteNote distribution process work?

How do the RouteNote cogs turn? Read on to learn! ⚙️

Once you have created your release on the RouteNote website and accepted the T&Cs and our Artist/Label Agreement, your release will be submitted to the moderation team for review.

In some cases, our moderation team will send your release back to you following the review process to ask for further information or changes. They just need to be sure that the release is suitable to be distributed to our partners.

If you have been asked to make changes or provide further information, make sure you click ‘Submit to Moderation’ at the bottom of your release page when you’re finished, this will send your release back to the moderation team for review.

Once your release has been approved, we’ll deliver it to your selected stores within 24 hours (excluding weekends).

It’ll be live in most of your chosen stores within 14 days, however some stores can take up to 28 days due to longer ingestion periods.

If you have set a sales start date on your release that is further ahead of this time frame, your release will become available on your chosen date.
