Meet RouteNote‘s newest partner store…LINE MUSIC!
We’re partnering with Tuned Global who distribute to LINE MUSIC Japan among others, and we’re excited to tell you about it. Tuned Global is a service focused on benefitting brands by engaging their users and customers through music. Through partnering with music streaming apps and platforms, they’re helping to enhance music experience with innovative user engagement features and a strong business intelligence to allow brands and labels boost their business.
With Tuned Global, RouteNote can now bring your music together with LINE MUSIC. LINE MUSIC is a subscription-based platform launched in 2015, providing music lovers with unlimited listening to a huge range of music, unlimited viewing of high-quality music videos and content without ads.
LINE MUSIC allows you to share new music or playlists with your friends or group using the pre-existing LINE Messenger, Japan’s no.1 instant messaging service. LINE MUSIC and LINE Messenger have been formed and integrated by their parent company, LINE Corporation. With LINE MUSIC, you’ll be able to change your ringtone for your LINE phone from their standard sound, and you’ll get unlimited use of eligible LINE stamps (they’re cute little stickers that you can send to your friends!). You can also customise your own LINE profile with songs and music videos and share tracks or playlists on friend’s profiles.
Make use of the Category and Station sections, where you can choose your preferred genre, theme or mood for personalised listening, browse through the range of playlists they offer, check out what’s trending in the Ranking section, or sing along to tracks using the karaoke feature.
LINE MUSIC was first launched in Thailand, but later expanded and formed LINE MUSIC Japan, which came with new deals signed with major labels such as Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and King Records. At the launch, LINE had 1.5 million licensed tracks from 30 music labels and publishers worldwide. This number has grown since this time. The service proved to be well-received, with 6.2 million downloads in both Japan and Thailand within the first months of availability.
The app is currently available in Japan, Thailand and Taiwan.
