Tik-Tok-Tik-Tok, we know you ain’t got time for that! Here’s what you can do now ⏰
If your release can’t be found on TikTok, there are a few reasons why this might be the case.
The first thing to consider would be whether your release is eligible for Content Recognition stores. This should be noted in your initial approval email, so please double check this! Content Recognition stores (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) may be blocked on your release for numerous reasons:
If you use any non-exclusive samples in your RouteNote release, unfortunately, we won’t be able to put it on services with Content Recognition systems running.
A prohibited type of release: Remixes, Compilation, Covers, Soundtracks, Live performances, Classical music, Ambient ‘soundscape’ style content, ASMR content, Meditation releases, Chanted mantras and prayers

The next thing to consider would be whether your account on TikTok is a business account.
If you have a business account on TikTok, please consider that business accounts are unable to use music from the general Sound Library. Distributing to TikTok using RouteNote means that we’ll distribute your release to TikTok’s general Sound Library. As part of our standard contract with TikTok, releases distributed to TikTok are not included in their commercial library.
However, TikTok allow us to add your username to a Safelist for a track. This will allow you to use the track with your TikTok business account despite the track not being in the commercial TikTok library.
Please let us know your TikTok username and the related ISRC at support@routenote.com. We can then add this for you!
