Distributed your release to Instagram through RouteNote? Now you’ll want to promote it!

We’ve got a few ideas up our sleeves…

1. Use the music sticker in your story to tag tracks
   
   How do I add a sticker?
   – Log into Instagram on your mobile device
   – Click on the Plus icon in the top right corner
   – Swipe across to Story
   – Take or choose your picture & make edits
   – Click on the sticker icon, the second icon in, in the top right hand corner
   – Search for Music and select
   – Search for your track and click
   – Edit how you wish for it to appear, and click Done!

2. Use countdowns for new releases
   
   How do I add a countdown?
   – Log into Instagram on your mobile device
   – Click on the Plus icon in the top right corner
   – Swipe across to Story
   – Take or choose a picture that relates to your new release – maybe a picture from recording or of an instrument!
   – Click on the sticker icon, the second icon in, in the top right hand corner
   – Search for Countdown and select
   – Insert your Countdown name; this could be ‘New Release!’ or references to the title of the track/album
   – Choose an end date and time, this will be when your release goes live
   – And click Done!
   
   
3. Use Spotify promo cards in your story
   
   To get started, click here.
   
   – Click on Get Started
   – Search for your artist, album or song
   – Click on Customize
   – Choose your colour
   – Choose either Portrait, Landscape or Square
   – Click on Share!
   
   Here you can either copy & paste your link, download your file to share instantly on your story or share directly to Twitter or Facebook.

   – To use it in your story, click Download File
   – Then, head to the Instagram app
   – Click on the Plus icon in the top right corner
   – Swipe across to Story
   – Add your downloaded picture!
